The
Beef Barn has been serving the finest beef in Eastern North
Carolina since 1967, and we have been the destination to
celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, promotions
and other special events.
Bob Abbott,
the original owner, guided the restaurant through many years
of great food and service; from the move to its current
location, the evolving of the menu to include many different
cuts of beef and welcoming liquor by the drink in
Greenville. In 1994, long time manager, Bob Simon, purchased
the restaurant from Bob Abbott. Now, Bob and his wife,
Donna, continue the Greenville tradition and work to ensure
customer satisfaction with every meal.
Originally the
restaurant was located in a small shopping center on the
corner of Greenville Boulevard and Red Banks Road. It
quickly outgrew that location, and the Beef Barn moved into
its new home on St. Andrews Drive. The new building housed a
relatively new concept, a salad bar. That salad bar is still
here and its 45 items are as popular as ever.
The
Beef Barn has evolved from a steak only restaurant to an
American restaurant that features beef, fresh seafood,
chicken, lamb chops and barbeque pork ribs. Our management
and staff is dedicated to providing quality food and
service. In 1993, the Beef Barn received the Wine Spectator
award for its wine list, which is an accomplishment we are
all very proud of. In 1999, Wine Spectator awarded the Beef
Barn it's Best of Award of Excellence that placed the Beef
Barn in the top 350 wine lists in the world. We are proud to
be among the ranks of restaurants in New York, San Francisco
and Los Angeles. Come to a Greenville tradition, a
Greenville, North Carolina Steak House - the BEEF BARN. WE
LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!
